Wait, is this serious?
Yes and no. The technology is serious. The premise — that a daily ridiculous joke from a person who loves you is meaningful — is also serious, even if it sounds like the opposite. But the jokes themselves should be terrible in exactly the way that makes you snort.
Who is this for?
Adults caring for older parents who live alone, partners who want to send a daily smile, friends who want to stay funny across distance, and anyone who'd rather use technology to add warmth to a relationship rather than replace conversation.
Does the cared-for need to install anything?
No. By default, jokes arrive as plain emails — works on any device, any age. They can install the mobile app for richer media (video jokes especially) but it's optional. Using the app, a carer can also forward any On-The-Go generated jokes directly into apps like TikTok, WhatsApp, or Instagram.
What if the AI generates something embarrassing?
You can turn carer review on so every joke needs your tap before it goes out. We also explicitly filter for disparagement, mockery, and anything not warm. (See Two Kinds of Funny.)
Can I pause it?
Yes — pause/resume from the carer dashboard. Auto-jokes stop until you turn it back on.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 30 days, no credit card. Includes 3 image jokes and 1 video joke. See plans →
Is there a Developer API?
Yes — we offer a Developer API for partners building integrations on top of AIC: programmatic enrolment, joke generation, voice-cloning, cartoon-builder hooks, and webhook events. Suited for care platforms, family apps, and humour-research projects. Contact us for access, documentation, and pricing.
Where can I read more?
The articles section has free reads on the science of humor, the role of laughter in mental health, and the role humor plays in adolescent peer dynamics.
